Mariam Ashour

Mariam Ashour is a Trinity Graduate Fellow at Marquette University, where she is pursuing an M.A. in International Affairs. Her areas of interest are nationalism, ethnic conflict, and regime transitions.

She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Studio Arts from Columbia College, South Carolina. Mariam currently works at Data You Can Use, a Milwaukee-based non-profit dedicated to assisting clients in the community analyze and interpret data.

Before moving to Milwaukee, Mariam worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Urban Institute in Washington D.C. In her spare time, Mariam enjoys painting, reading, and hanging out with friends.
