Mahmoud AbuEid is a Palestinian who grew up in Zarqa, Jordan. He came to the US in 2012 to attend Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, graduating in 2016 with a BS in Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry. Mahmoud then accepted a research technician position at the Medical College of Wisconsin, taking advantage of the Optional Practical Training (OPT) visa for a year. His research was in neurodegenerative diseases. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Mahmoud is the LE•O representative for Jordan.
