We Invite You
Ten years ago, Deya’ Leonard Dresner, alongside a small group of Palestinian students, embarked on a journey that would go on to transform countless lives. Guided by compassion, vision, and unwavering dedication, they welcomed young Palestinians arriving in the United States—many with little more than a scholarship, a visa, and a suitcase—and helped them build a path toward a brighter future.
The organization was named in honor of Deya’s father, Dr. Graham Leonard, who devoted his life’s work to education throughout the Arab world. Today, the Leonard Education Organization (LE.O) continues that legacy by supporting underserved Palestinian students in pursuit of higher education around the globe.

Now, a growing community of graduates stands as living proof of what becomes possible when opportunity is paired with steadfast support. While LE.O has expanded over the years, its heart remains unchanged: every student is welcomed not only with resources but with genuine care, mentorship, and the deep personal commitment of Deya’, her board, and a dedicated team of volunteers.

This evening, we gather in gratitude—to honor Deya’, thank the board, student volunteers, host families, and generous donors, and to celebrate all who have helped bring this vision to life. And we invite you to stand with us—to ensure this powerful journey of hope and transformation continues for generations to come.
