Dear Friends,
On the 13th of July, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People at the United Nations held its 407th meeting. At the meeting, the Committee approved the accreditation of three NGOs recommended by the Committee Bureau this year. The Leonard Education Organization (LE.O.), United States, was one of them!
As an accredited civil society organization, we are invited to attend all relevant international meetings and conferences held under the auspices of the Committee and may participate in the discussions and make statements, either orally or in written form. Our LE.O Community members may submit reports, written statements and other relevant documents for circulation among Committee Members and Observers. We may use these international meetings as a platform to discuss our own initiatives, experiences, and ideas. And have the opportunity to network with other Civil Society NGOs and attend panel discussions with experts from around the world.
Ultimately we will reach a broader audience with whom we can share our experiences from a grassroots perspective.
We also just celebrated our 7th anniversary and are growing and achieving what we set out to do.
The work we do depends fully on the gifts from generous individual donors and a few foundations. Please consider contributing to our program so that we can continue to transform lives through the power of education.
Give today; we need your support to continue and to grow.
