Leonard Education Organization’s (LE•O) Origin.
The strength of LE·O is the three degrees of separation, partnering with lifelong family friends, building on established alliances, and working together to benefit the education of Palestine’s younger generation, for 70 years now.
The organization was established by students and Deya’ who understood the need to build a program that would take a holistic approach in support of their educations. LE·O’s approach is strengths-based and asset-based, viewing students not as victims but as survivors with the resilience and potential to thrive. The organization follows a trauma-informed practice model, ensuring that dignity, safety, and well-being are at the center of all services. By removing barriers and increasing access to opportunities, LE·O empowers students to move beyond survival mode and step into their full potential.
